My linked-story manuscript, THE BONES OF THE MOUSE MAKE THE CAT, takes place across the twentieth century inside, and away from, the community of a small truck circus.

I write poems using constraints and, sometimes, traditional forms. I work on erasures and collaged texts as meditation and reanimation. A chapbook of erasure poems, Trees Full of Walking, is forthcoming from Dancing Girl Press.

The Other Whale is an erasure made with paint on the pages of a 1942 edition of Moby-Dick from Dodd, Mead and Company. The resulting text is different from the text of By Whale: An Erasure, which you can download for free from my Select Writing page
